1 August 05 - FSA Warns Bosses About Endowment Complaints
Bosses of financial institutions dealing with endowment complaints are being warned that they will be held responsible for endowment misselling complaints, it has been reported. They have been given a deadline of the end of this month to prove their systems work and to report figures to the FSA monthly. This is thought to be due to a growing number of rejected compliants that the Ombursman later upholds - up to 60% in some cases.
